A leading Indian Tier-I NVH components manufacturer for 2W, 3W, and PV segments was seeking a technology partner to co-develop advanced, lightweight, and sustainable composite solutions to meet evolving OEM demands and drive future product differentiation.
PwC’s Role
- PwC conducted a comprehensive profiling of the client’s capabilities, followed by a thorough assessment for a potential partner. Based on this, this international startup which specializes in natural fiber composites was screened among a long list of 10+ startups and recommended for potential engagement with the client.
- PwC extensively coordinated with the startup and the Tier 1 to strategically structure and coordinate their engagements. This included multiple meetings and interaction events.
- PwC extensively extended PMO support to both parties in evaluating the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), addressing any clarifications as needed.
The Results
- NDA has been signed – and further steps on the collaboration, including product roadmap, customer acquisition strategy and other details under discussion.
- MoU under execution.
- Joint product and customer strategy as a partner for a prominent Indian 2W OEM is being explored jointly.
