Client Description

The client who is one of the leading suppliers of motors and controllers besides other automotive electronic components in India wanted to diversify into BMS and telematics solutions to provide a holistic solution to its EV customers – specially 2W & 3W.

PwC’s Role

• PwC conducted comprehensive capability assessment of 5+ startups in the telematics hardware and software space. Based on this evaluation, the client shortlisted one provider, which PwC subsequently screened and recommended for potential engagement.
• PwC collaborated with the tier-1 to strategically structure and coordinate their engagements with a telematics solution provider. This included organizing multiple meetings, interaction events, and in-person sessions.

The Results

• NDA is signed.
• Alignment on collaboration objectives is underway – ownership of activities in the collaboration in particular.
• POC of the telematics device is being jointly developed for application in e3W initially.
